Recently I found another rubbish tag.

Me: Why do you call yourself "Pooz"?

Pooz: 'Coz it's what I do, innit?

Without looking hard at all, I found three large "Pooz" around the A4 in Brentford, West London.

AZBOW

In the UK, an ASBO is an Anti Social Behaviour Order. They're applied by the courts and are intened to stop people behaving in a way that is unwanted by others.

I don't know whether or not the creator of this tag has been issued with an ASBO and has taken it upon themselves to embrace that state of being, changing the spelling in a way that they think is cool. But I've heard that some people issued with such, see it as a badge of honour!

This scrawl was photographed on one of the pillars that hold up the A4 Elevated Section in Boston Manor Park, Brentford, in the UK.

Lager.

Another wonderful pseudonym, "LAGER"! LAGER's tag can be seen up and down the railway line from Brentford Station. It was, at the time I took this picture, unknown if he had a friend called "CIDER" or if he had a girlfriend called "STELLA".

But then I saw this next tag in North London........

.......What goes with lager?........

........Yep, Crisps!

The One That Got Away.

The one I couldn't get a picture of, but that I went searching for, only to find that it had been painted over, was "Uncle Methy Says...." followed by some illegible nonsense.

Yeah, I'm going to take the advice of someone called "Uncle Methy"! The best thing about this badly scrawled piece of graffiti was that it had been emblazoned on the side of the defunct local police station.

He probably thought that he had been sending a message of some kind, sticking it to The Man, but by calling himself "Uncle Methy", I think he'd lost any credibility he might of gained with the unintelligible scrawlings after his adopted moniker.

BLUD ANUS

This beauty can be seen from the overpass that runs between Waterloo and Waterloo East stations in London, England.

I'd assumed that this charmers tag was BLUD ANUS. But loooking at it now, it might be two different tags: BLUD and ANUS, as the ANUS is repeated on the sattelite dish near the bottom left of the picture.

Either way, good effort, you must be really proud.

To start with.

To start with, I want to say that this blog is not for the great pieces of art that you sometimes see emblazoned on walls or other places. This blog is for the misjudged and downright terrible scrawls that make the place look a mess or are just downright funny in a unintended way. I hope you'll enjoy what I post here.

A FADED "BASTAD."

I took this pic about a year ago. Already fading, I can now report that this "BASTAD", which could then be seen on the approach ...
